Hello, everyone! Before anything else, if you have played Part B, how did you enjoy it? We are eager to hear any constructive feedback you may have! 🧡

For now, we have some important information to share with you.

🥭About Chapter 2 Part C

Yup! We're already working on it. I'm currently writing the version's script, and it seems that, as we previously discussed, this part will be shorter than Parts A and B. It contains only four files.

Take this with a grain of salt, though. I tend to underestimate the amount of work. And so far, it looks like the scenes in this version will be among the largest in the game.

There isn't much else I can say right now.

🥭About bugs

We've heard that some people have encountered exceptions in certain parts of the game, or that save files aren't working. That's because I changed some of the variables due to residual code. If you happen to find a rare bug you don't know how to fix, please, tell us.

Unfortunately, it's not over.

Why? Quite simple:

🥭Chapter Report system

A system that would summarise your actions throughout each chapter. This is something we've wanted to do since we were working in Chapter 1 with no success. But now it's different. I've already started testing some prototypes, but the work is far from finished.


(Far from finished! Just a not-so-functional prototype that needs a LOT of work on the visuals.)

We don't know for sure yet, but a new save will most likely be required. We will confirm or deny this in the future. I'm trying my best not to change the old code to do this (that would lead to bugs for sure).

Fortunately, there's no hard branching in the game yet, so good ol' Ctrl should get you to the new content quickly.

🥭Patreon Tier changes

We're considering reworking the lowest tier; Getting Closer.

 

We considered giving it access to the game and, as silly as it sounds, patron-only posts! Let me explain: Right now, we make all of our DevLogs public. So the $1 tier is more of a tip jar tier than anything else. With this rework, we'll most likely start alternating between one public devlog and one exclusive, more in-depth devlog every few weeks.

Keep in mind that this change has not been confirmed. We'd like to hear feedback before implementing it.

We also considered making new versions available to higher tiers (22$ and up) as a kind of "early access". More like a beta release to address any potential bugs. We are unsure about that one. Again, what are your thoughts? Well, that's all for now!
